I read the print version of this book prior to listening to the audio version. I typically don't like audio books; in fact, I can't stand them. I get too distracted doing other things and end up just hearing noise instead of listening to the book. The Money Saving Mom'®s Budget was different. It was easy to listen to, and gave J-bird and I something that we could listen to and discuss together.

I've been following her website for some time now, and I find that Crystal's approach to saving money and stretching resources aligns with my own beliefs. She does what she can but doesn't make it too crazy. Life's already stressful enough. If shopping at 7 different stores for all of the deals and making your own tortillas doesn't work for you, don't do it.

Her book is a great overview of how to set goals, save money, and becoming more content with your life, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is starting out in stretching resources and to anyone who needs a little encouragement to stay on the path to a healthier financial life. You can do it!
