but I do know how to find a good deal. Goose and I went to Walgreens tonight before music class and scored some deals for the family.
We bought:
1 Pantene shampoo and 1 conditioner
1 Gain dish soap
1 bottle of water (I was dying of thirst)
3 rolls of Scotch magic tape
8 bags of Twizzlers Sweet & Sour Filled Twists (J-bird is a sugar maniac and loves these. They're hard to find!)
I paid just a little over $14 for all of these items, and even got a $1 coupon to use on my next purchase. The Twizzlers alone should have been $24 at full price but they were half off. I had coupons for everything else except the water-- the Gain, tape, and Pantene were completely free.
I primarily use three sites (For The Mommas, Deal Seeking Mom, and Money Saving Mom) to help me with deal and coupon match-ups. I coupon but don't obsess about it (or at least try not to). I never pay for toothbrushes or toothpaste. I don't pay more than $1 for shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. I've built up quite a little stockpile but not so much that it keeps us from enjoying our home. When I start to get too much or get items for free that I know I won't use (particular toothpaste, etc), I give them to family and friends. Some of them may chuckle or make jokes but no one turns down the stuff I offer for free. :)

What deal sites do you use? How often do you go on "deal trips"? Do you keep a stockpile, or just buy as you need?
